A tessellation is a way to tile a floor (that goes on forever) with shapes so that there is no overlapping and no gaps.

Polygon Project

    • Create a Keynote Presentation to show what you know about Polygons. You need to include;
    • the definition of a polygon
    • at least 9 Polygons
    • a description of the polygon using the language of lines, angles, length, shape ect
    • ‘real world’ examples of each shape
    • an ‘irregular and regular’ picture of the shape
    • pay attention to the presentation/ layout of your project

* There is an example to download on the right of this page. Please see me if you are unsure of what to do. Use your 'lines' and angles information on your macs and in your Math books to help with your descriptions. You will need to show me how you are going on the 7th of March so please don't leave it to the last minute.
