Discuss with your group: What you think that rhyme means? Do words have power? What does it feel like when someone says something negative about you or to you? What does it feel like when someone says something positive about you or to you? What is an affirmation? Brainstorm positive affirmations Create a Keynote Page for 1 positive affirmation. We will then collate the class Keynotes for an LA30 Daily Affirmation Keynote.

Alicia, Jessica and Tanisha are focussing on the 'Power of Love'. They are holding a cupcake sale to raise money for the RSPCA, to demonstrate love towards the animals.
Aayla, Makayla & Mia:
Our group is doing a treasure hunt for the year 2's to teach the students to save power. We are making cards with good and bad use of power. Once they have found all the cards they will put them into saving power or wasting power buckets. When they have completed the treasure hunt they get a sticker with a power on it! |
